The animation is quite decent and the characters are entertaining and lovable. For a cartoon targeted at very young children the humor is fast-paced and can be clever on occasions.

Yet, despite the series being fairly large, with the title character also having appeared in animated shorts and video games, most Western audiences have probably never heard of it except from Netflix.
